TAHMALAJ

The Tahmalaj archaeological site is representing a köshk, a type of supporting infrastructure point characteristic for Amul-Merv section of the Silk Roads. Its archaeological remains reflect the outstanding skills in making comfortable shelter in the most severe desert environment of Karakum.
